I have four decades of experience in the technology industry as an executive, entrepreneur, software engineer and researcher. I’ve served as a VP in three Fortune 500 corporations and as a board director for a FTSE 250 company. I’ve worked in, and established, many organizational models and seen what works and doesn't work for companies in a wide variety of situations.

When user experience innovation is not fulfilling your aspirations, I can, as needed:

  1. help you to review and reconsider your organizational design, job levels, career paths, skill base and design methodology in light of your culture and your goals;

  2. show your executives ways to deliver effective design critique to the product team;

  3. teach the product team how to create better user experiences.

  4. help you to perform user research and to deliver better user experiences

I’ll start by getting to know your team, your process and your customers. I’ll watch. Listen. Mentor. Teach by assisting. If I suggest organizational or process changes, they will be changes I believe can be assimilated comfortably into your culture.
